The Sri Venkateswara Temple stands on the Tirumala hills above the town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. It is administered by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and receives very large numbers of pilgrims every day.

Darshan arrangements, accommodation and transport up the hill are all managed through TTD. Booking options and rules change from time to time, so always check the current process through TTD's official channels before travelling.
On foot or by road
Many pilgrims choose to climb to Tirumala on foot along the traditional stepped pathways, while others travel by bus or car along the ghat roads.
